Since their early studies in CSi students are taught in two languages: Portuguese and English, following the English National Curriculum modified to cater for each student´s needs. There is a great emphasis on the learning of mathematics and science, these subjects are embedded throughout the curriculum.

The Arts and Sports component is given great importance, the school carefully plans several curricular and extra-curricular activities both in and outside its own facilities.
Foundation Classes (3 to 5 years old)
A report profile is given to parents quarterly where the children’s development is recorded over the 2 years.
Key Stage 1, 2 and 3 (5 to 14 years old)
Students have an internal assessment, where a report is given out for parents quarterly so that the students progress can be monitored.
Students do the end of Key Stage examinations sent by the Standards and Testing Agency from the Department of Education in England.
Key Stage 4 (14 to 16 years old)
At the end of year 9, children choose their options to study at IGCSE level.
Students will normally take 9 subjects at examination level, these exams are normally taken in the end of year 11, however if the student is ready they can be done before.
At CSi compulsory subjects are:
English, Mathematics (2 tiers), Portuguese, ICT and Physical Education (non examination subject)
Choices are available from:
Science (Double Award), History, Geography, Business Studies, French, Spanish, Music and Drama, Art and English Literature.
Key Stage 5 (16 to 18 years old)
Pupils that want to continue their studies further have the option in CSi to study AS and A level qualification.
In CSi, the subjects on offer are:
English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geography, Portuguese, French, Spanish and Business Studies.
As for recognition towards University admission, pupils need 3 A levels.
The CSi covers pre-school, primary and secondary education, following a modified National Curriculum of England with emphasis in a bilingual learning, where children are taught in English and Portuguese, CSi has a mathematics and science specialization, these subjects are embedded throughout the curriculum.
Education in CSi is fully homologous with the Portuguese Educational system and the studies are validated following ordinance 224/2006.
