School Profile

CSi opened its doors in September 2012. The school has more than 27 nationalities, with a total of 130 students, serving not only the needs of the international community residing in the region but also Portuguese citizens seeking an international education.

CSi is an independent, coeducational, open-admission school. Teaching is bilingual, in English and Portuguese, and the educational program follows the model and guidelines of the National Curriculum of England.

CSi is located in the center of Tavira, in a 15th-century building considered a true historical landmark. The school has 16 classrooms, including a science laboratory, a music studio, a radio station, a computer room, an art room, and a canteen.

The maximum number of students per class is 18. Our team consists of 17 teachers, 2 classroom assistants, and 6 support staff members.

The results achieved by our students are above the average of schools in the United Kingdom. The first student to complete A-Level studies at CSi in 2013 was immediately admitted to California State University in Long Beach, where he completed a degree in Aerospace Engineering.

Several students who graduated from CSi went on to study courses such as a BA (Hons) in Sport and Sports Law at UCFB in Wembley, London; pilot training at ATF Flying School in Spain; and others who were accepted into universities in Canada, the Netherlands, Belgium, England, and Portugal.
